About Me
Let's start with the basics. My name is Paige and I am a 2022 graduate of the Toronto Film School's Video Game Design and Animation program. I like video games, animated TV shows, food (of course), and my favourite colour is pink. If you also couldn't tell from my spelling and schooling, I'm from Canada!

Now that the basics are out of the way, let's get a bit more in depth. I've always loved art, in varying shapes and forms. When I was little, I used to take dance classes, and in high school I was a huge band nerd that used to draw nearly every day. Being an animator was always a childhood dream of mine, but as I grew up, I discovered I loved more than just animation.

Post-graduation, the industry was experiencing turbulence in the form of lay-offs. It was difficult for me to find a position, and in the end I needed to find another job to support myself and my family. A few years have gone by, and I am now looking to get back into the industry or explore other creative options close to it!

Attending Toronto Film School helped me to see that there are many different avenues in which you can bring a project to life. Oftentimes, they even need to work together to create a cohesive project. That's why I named my portfolio site Middle Mixed Media; it gave me creative freedom to explore those avenues as they call to me, or as other projects require.

I'm looking for a place I can not only offer my skills, but develop myself as well. I always want to be able to learn something from every situation, which is why I think I'm fascinated by so many types of media.

If you think I'd be a good match for your project or your team, send me an email at the address listed on the right or on the bottom of the page!
